Top 6 Stories Why Cat is Man's Best Friend Too

Commonly, it is used for dogs, but I believe that cats can also be called that. I do admit dogs have interpersonal styles that suits the term. They are loyal, protective and love human's personal touch. Why is that, there are cases where cats play an important roles in saving their owner's lives.

In England, a cat woke its owner by meowing to her. According to London Fire Brigade, that action enables the woman to leave the property which located in Limehouse before fire crews arrived. The owner is lucky because the home is not equipped with working fire alarm at that time.

A similar case happened in France, a French woman and her neighbours were grateful when they are woken by a cat called Boulette/Meatball to warn about a blaze in the attic of their block.   It is an originally a farmhouse and then has been converted to several apartments in a village in south-eastern France. Then when fire burns the attic of that house, sound of a cat called Meatball scratching on the floor of the attic is heard. Its owner, half asleep went to see what is going on. Then she noticed the fire rushed to call firefighters and escaped the burning house.

Trigger, a breed cat save its owner, Erna Pratt when she suffered a stroke attack in her kitchen. The 75 year old owner is making a toast when she had it. It was a severe stroke. Pratt which left paralyzed from lower waist was unable to call for help. Luckily she had her daughter, Mary. But she is sleeping on the time of the incident. Trigger when instructed by Pratt somehow went to meow loudly and enable Mary to call 911. Her mother was taken to the hospital.

In Oklahoma, a cat was induct into Animal Hall of Fame in recognition of her service to her owner. 
Her name is Scarlett. She helped her owner, Mary Franklin by soothing her owner's wound when she was healing from a surgery. But that did not put him on the hall of fame but her action when Mary suffered dizziness due to high glucose level. She then realized about his abnormal condition and called her granddaughter for help.
