From the year 2007, there is a new madness among cafe owners. It is known as cat cafe madness. When you think again, there is no strangeness to that since people really adores cat. What is a cat cafe? As the name suggests, it is cafe that is filled with cats. It is created for humans to dine but it differs from other ordinary cafe where you can enjoy your food while surrounding by cats.
In Tokyo, there is Calico cafe. It is one of many cafes that offer the comfort of this felines. In this cafe, you can buy 20 cats from different breeds. In Japan, to own a pet is very costly. Most apartments don't allow its residents to bring their pet along in the building.
To cat lovers, this obstruction is very cruel. So, to those that want to feel the cuteness from these kitties can come to this cafe. It is very popular among old folks that are lonely. In this cafe's menu, there is a list about the cat, its breed and date of birth. It is a very adorable act from the Japanese. This attitude and perception toward cats is differs to my country though. Sigh.
